- Guest Policies
- At Chophouse on Broad Street, we are committed to providing an elevated dining experience in a refined, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. The following policies help us maintain the level of service, hospitality, and ambiance our guests expect.
- Business Casual Dress Code. We kindly ask all guests to observe a Business Casual dress code.
- Appropriate Attire — Business casual attire may include: Collared shirts, polos, blouses, and sweaters. Slacks, khakis, and tailored pants. Dresses and skirts. Neat, well-maintained denim. Tailored or dress shorts when worn as part of a polished business-casual appearance. Dress shoes, loafers, boots, and clean, presentable casual footwear. Sport coats and jackets are welcomed but not required.
- Attire We Ask Guests to Avoid — To preserve our fine-dining atmosphere, the following attire is not permitted: Athletic, workout, or gym attire. Sweatpants, athletic shorts, or similar activewear. Sleeveless undershirts or casual tank tops. Beachwear or swimwear. Pajamas or sleepwear. Excessively torn or distressed clothing. Clothing displaying offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate language, graphics, or imagery. Sheer garments intended as outerwear, exposed undergarments, or clothing that does not provide appropriate coverage for a fine-dining environment.
- Hats — Fashionable and dress hats are welcome.
- Our Commitment — Our dress code applies equally to all guests and is enforced without regard to sex or gender. Management reserves reasonable discretion in determining whether attire is consistent with our business-casual standard and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
- Guest Policies.
- Reservations & Cancellations — Reservations are strongly encouraged. Because Chophouse has limited seating and each reservation represents dining-room capacity specifically held for your party, we kindly ask guests to provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling a reservation or making a significant change to party size. Reservations cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice and reservations resulting in a no-show may be subject to a $25 per-person cancellation fee when a credit card guarantee has been required. Special events, wine dinners, bourbon dinners, chef dinners, holiday reservations, private dining experiences, and other prepaid or ticketed events may have separate cancellation requirements. Due to the limited seating and specially purchased food and beverages associated with these experiences, certain event reservations may be non-refundable. Applicable terms will be disclosed when the reservation is made.
- Late Arrivals — We respectfully ask guests to arrive promptly for their reservation. Reservations will generally be held for 15 minutes after the scheduled reservation time. Guests expecting to arrive more than 15 minutes late should contact the restaurant. Depending upon dining-room availability, late arrival may require an adjustment to the reservation time, table, or seating arrangements.
- Changes in Party Size — Please notify us as soon as possible if the number of guests in your party changes. Significant changes in party size may affect our ability to accommodate the original seating arrangement. For certain reservations and special events, reductions in party size without sufficient notice may also be subject to the applicable cancellation policy.
- Guest Policies.
- Outside Food & Beverages — To maintain our food-safety standards, quality standards, and overall dining experience, outside food and beverages are not permitted. This includes outside wine, beer, liquor, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, prepared foods, and other food or beverage products. Chophouse does not offer a corkage option for outside wine or other alcoholic beverages. An exception may be made for a professionally prepared celebration cake or specialty dessert with advance approval from management. A cake-cutting or service fee may apply. Outside food brought into the restaurant without prior approval may not be served, stored, prepared, plated, or handled by Chophouse staff. Reasonable exceptions for legitimate medical or dietary needs may be addressed directly with management.
- Management Discretion — Chophouse on Broad Street reserves reasonable management discretion in the application of these policies and in addressing circumstances not specifically covered above. Our policies are intended to be applied consistently and respectfully while maintaining the distinctive dining experience at Chophouse on Broad Street. We appreciate your understanding, cooperation, and patronage.
